Naperville Men's Glee Club plans two holiday concerts

The Naperville Men's Glee Club will perform two holiday concerts in early December.

The "Candlelight Advent" concert features thoughtful music about the anticipation and joy of Christmas sung by the club and guest soprano Mary Elliott. The candlelight concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in the sanctuary of St. Margaret Mary Church, 1450 Green Trails Drive, Naperville.

Fun for the entire family, the "Young & Young at Heart" concert is a family-friendly, one-hour program of holiday favorites. This year's concert includes songs from the Disney movie "Frozen" and a rendition of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."

Children in the audience will be invited to sing "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and other songs with the club. They will also be asked to accompany the group with percussion instruments.

The concert begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, in the sanctuary of Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville.

Tickets may be purchased online and printed at napervillemensgleeclub.org. They also may be purchased from any club member; by phone at (630) 448-0518; or at the door (cash or check).

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and free for children 5 and younger. Group rates are available by calling (630) 448-0518.
