Swan's Christmas Trees opens in 5 locations

If you're eager to get your freshly cut Christmas tree, Swan's Christmas Trees has returned to the Fox Valley and surrounding area. Lonnie Swan's employees were setting up about 160 trees just east of the First Street Plaza in downtown St. Charles Wednesday.

Other locations are on Route 38 just east of Randall Road on the west side of St. Charles, in the Angelo Caputo's Fresh Markets lot on Randall Road in South Elgin, and at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club on Route 59 in West Chicago, and at the Cress Creek Shopping Center on Ogden Avenue in Naperville.

Five fir tree varieties are available: Douglas, Fraser, Korean, concolor and balsam. Prices range from $25 to $150. Tree lot hours in St. Charles are 12 to 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
