Harper College goes smoke-free as of Jan. 1, 2015

Harper College campuses will go smoke-free on Jan. 1, 2015, six months before a law goes into effect banning tobacco on all Illinois' public college campuses. Smoking will be banned everywhere on the campus; only smoking in personal vehicles will be allowed. The policy defines smoking as the burning, inhaling or exhaling of pipes, cigars, cigarettes, hookahs, weed, e-cigarettes and all lighted smoking equipment. Harper is providing on-campus stop-smoking resources; for details visit harpercollege.edu and search "smoke-free".
