The Lake County Housing Authority awarded the demolition bid for the Marion Jones Redevelopment

The Lake County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and Mr. David A. Northern Sr., Executive Director/CEO, held the monthly Board meeting yesterday, November 20, 2014. At this time, the Board reviewed the demolition bids and awarded the bid to Dore & Associates Contracting Inc., the nationwide contractor with a strong reputation in the demolition and environmental industry with more than fifty years of expertise. Dore & Associates will provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the Demolition and Asbestos Abatement according to all specifications and addendums received by the Lake County Housing Authority. The project was awarded a total value of $1,121,200.00 (one million, one hundred twenty-one thousand, two hundred dollars.) Congratulations to Arthur M. Dore, President of Dore & Associates, and the Dore Team.

We thank all involved for their patience in the decision process of the Marion Jones Redevelopment, focused on the continued success of the housing authority and the community we serve.
