A 71-year-old Wheaton man was killed after being struck by two vehicles on Roosevelt Road over the weekend, police said Monday.

James Simpson was crossing Roosevelt Road around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, just west of Fapp Circle, when he was struck by a passenger vehicle that was traveling east.

Police said Simpson was then struck by a second, westbound car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
