Billy Flynn hosts blues party and open jam Nov. 26

Blues icon Billy Flynn with an All Star band offers a taste of the authentic Chicago blues at "Crystal Lake's Real Chicago Blues Party and Open Jam" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, in the Listening Room, located within Lakeside Legacy Arts Park at 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake.

Flynn has played with Kim Wilson of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Pinetop Perkins and many other world-renowned blues musicians. He was nominated for a Grammy for his work on the "Cadillac Records" soundtrack and recently named one of Chicago's top blues guitarists. Bring your instrument and your talent to join in some real deal Chicago blues.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.LakesideLegacy.org or by contacting the box office at (815) 455-8000. If online sales have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door for $20. Lakeside Legacy is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and is also home to the Historic Dole Mansion.
