Friends of Lake Villa District Library Host Thank-a-Vet Book Sale

The sale is a great opportunity to meet and visit with local veterans while getting great bargains on gently used books, magazines and audiovisual materials. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to local VFW Post 4308.

Preview hours for Friends Members are 4-6pm, Thursday, November 13. Memberships can be purchased at the door beginning at 3:30pm. The sale continues Friday, November 14, 9-4pm and Saturday, November 15, 9-3pm with a bag sale from noon-3pm Saturday.

The Friends of LVDL have been devoted library advocates for 35 years sponsoring used book sales to purchase library materials and equipment. Donations of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs are always welcome.

Lake Villa District Library enriches life in our community by connecting people with resources, services and each other. The library is located at 1001 E. Grand Avenue, Lake Villa, Illinois.
