Public session on concealed carry

The Lake County State's Attorney's Office in partnership with the Lake County Sheriff's Office is hosting a concealed carry informational session on from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the College of Lake County, Grayslake campus, Building C auditorium, 19351 W. Washington St. Grayslake. The Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act became law in 2013, but it was not until Jan. 5, 2014, that Illinois residents were eligible to apply for concealed carry licenses. Lake County State's Attorney Michael G. Nerheim, Sheriff Mark C. Curran Jr. and Undersheriff Raymond J. Rose with Lake County Sheriff's Deputy Roman Buchberger and Assistant State's Attorney Daniel Kleinhubert will update the community on the law. Call Cynthia Vargas, (847) 377-3188.
