Nomination packets now available for four seats on Fremont Library board

The Fremont Public Library District board of trustees will have four full-term, 4-year seats open in the April 7, 2015, Consolidated Election.

Nomination packets are now available and can be obtained at the library's administrative office during regular business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

To be eligible, a candidate must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter and a resident of the library district. The Fremont Public Library District consists of parts of eight villages, encompassing all of Fremont Township and a section of western Libertyville Township.

The filing period runs from Monday, Dec. 15, to Monday, Dec. 22, during regular business hours. Nomination packets must be filed at the library's Administrative Office, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. The order of the filing determines name placement on the ballot.
