Budweiser lounge planned for Allstate Arena in Rosemont
Following the popularity of the Jack Daniel's Club inside Allstate Arena, a similar Budweiser-themed lounge is being planned for the Rosemont entertainment and sports venue.
A room on the south end of the stadium's first floor that's currently used as a lounge, but sometimes as storage space, will be converted to the new Budweiser lounge. A deal paving the way for the lounge was struck this week by Anheuser-Busch and the village, which owns and operates the stadium.
Anheuser-Busch is paying the village more than $2.5 million over the course of five years for advertising at village-owned venues, including the Allstate Arena, Rosemont Theatre, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, MB Financial Park, and Ballpark at Rosemont. The village will build out the lounge space for Budweiser for no more than $150,000.
The arrangement follows the creation of the Jack Daniel's-sponsored bar on the upper east side of the stadium this spring. Brown-Forman Corp., which owns the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Brand, inked a similar advertising agreement with the village.
