Hunters 9 wolves shy of Wisconsin quota

MADISON, Wis. -WisconsinThe state's third annual wolf season began Oct. 15. It's slated to run until Feb. 28 or until hunters reach the kill limit. Only two management zones remain open - one in northwestern Wisconsin and one that includes most of the southern and central portions of the state.
