Hoffman Estates tree-lighting ceremony Nov. 22
Hoffman Estates will open the holidays by lighting the Friendship Tree, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 in front of the main entrance of village hall, 1900 Hassell Road. The event will also have fireworks, entertainment by the vocal group The Noteables and dancers from HOTT Productions, a local nonprofit theater troupe. A donation of canned goods or personal toiletry items would be appreciated to replenish area food pantries. This free, family-friendly event fills up quickly, so arrive early for a good seat.
