Rivers Foundation Grant Enhances Student Learning

A grant from the Rivers Foundation will move Terrace Elementary School closer to reaching its technology goals, which are to:

Provide each teacher with a SMART interactive whiteboard to further enhance his/her instruction and his/her students' abilities to interact with learning activities

Engage students with challenging academic skills that will lead to future success

Support the rigor of Common Core State Standards by infusing technology into each school day

Continue to transform our school into a 21st century learning environment

Prepare students for the digital age so that they will be college and career ready

Rivers Foundation members Jennifer Taylor, Jack Valadez, and Kate McMahon presented a check for $48,000 check to Dr. Bradley Stein, Terrace Principal, and Paul Hertel, Associate Superintendent. 12 SMART boards will be mounted in classrooms throughout the school.
