Shop for the holiday gifts at Spring Valley

Spring Valley is helping holiday shoppers find the perfect gifts this season.

Purchase unique holiday gifts for loved ones from the Schaumburg Park District's annual Spring Valley Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 30, at the Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road.

The Nature Center will be transformed into a gift shop with the area's best artisans and crafters. Items for sale include holiday decorations, gourmet food items, home accessories, jewelry and holiday treats.

"We're going to have some wonderful crafters and vendors offering great items," said Dave Brooks, manager of conservation services at Spring Valley. "Everything in the gift shop will be handmade and originally crafted."

Admission is free. The Spring Valley Holiday Bazaar is sponsored by the Spring Valley Nature Club.
