Performances of "Murder by Indecision" will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Kaneland Harter Middle School Cafetorium, 1601 Esker Drive in Sugar Grove.

You get double the fun and double the suspense with this murder mystery comedy within a comedy!

Age has caught up with Agatha Crispy, the world's best known mystery playwright, as she attempts to crank out her newest and last manuscript. Senility is setting in and the words just don't flow like they used to. Ignoring her pestering agent Ruth Less, Agatha sits down to write, wrestling with her characters and babbling to her imaginary friend Typy, the typewriter. As she struggles through the first few pages of her play, Miss Maple, Inspector Dryfus and all her characters come to life on stage, then crumple with every balled-up page tossed into the trash can. When she stops typing, her characters take on a life of their own, lamenting how Agatha is ruining their reputation in the literary world with this last flop of a manuscript. If only they could influence Agatha somehow to help her and themselves.

"'Murder by Indecision' is a funny murder-mystery based on Agatha Crispy's novels," says eighth-grader Evangeline Beck from Sugar Grove. "This production has been so much fun to be a part of especially because of the talented cast."

Mabel Cummins, an eighth-grader from Elburn, plays Agatha in the production. She says, "This is my favorite show yet! 'Murder by Indecision' is a story about a kooky but lovable mystery writer, Agatha Cripsy, trying to come up with inspiration for her final play before she retires"

Tickets are available for purchase at the door prior to the show. Ticket prices are $5 or $3 for students. The doors and ticket stand will open at 6 p.m.

The Kaneland Performing Arts Boosters will be selling concessions before the play and during intermission.
