Special event to honor veterans at West Dundee church

A celebration to honor local veterans, past and present, will be shared at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 845 W. Main St., West Dundee.

The celebration will be filled with song, personal testimonies, stories, and video presentations.

"We are honoring with pride and respect those who have chosen to serve and have given so much for our personal and national freedoms," said Joe Sakowski, leader of the St. Catherine of Siena Men's Music Ministry. "It's a really good opportunity to share this event with your children, as well. They will be able to understand how our veterans have sacrificed so much for us to live free in this amazing country."

Families and veterans in the community are invited to attend.
