R.A.H. Fundraiser to Benefit Homeless D211 Students Coming up Thursday

Officials at District 211 estimate that by the end of this school year, there will be more than 200 homeless students attending one of the seven area high schools. There are currently 170 students that fit into the homeless designation.

You can help make a difference in the lives of these young people, who are lacking a stable place to call home, and facing serious adversity.

Join R.A.H. (Realtors Against Homelessness) at an upcoming fundraiser to benefit D211 programs that assist these students.

Included in the event will be an appetizer buffet, desserts, a cash bar, raffles, a silent and live auction, along with entertainment.

The event will be held this coming Thursday, November 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chandler's Banquets, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Tickets are $40 a person and can be purchased online at www.RAH211.com. For more information, call Cindy Eich at 847-255-1000.

Realtors Against Homelessness was founded in August of 2011 by ten local realtors who work for a variety of real estate offices. Their mission is to provide support to the growing number of homeless students attending D211 schools. By increasing awareness and fundraising efforts, R.A.H. has been able to positively impact the lives of homeless students. To date, the organization has raised more than $50,000 for their cause.
