Inaugural ALS 8K race kicks off Nov. 15 in Rosemont
The inaugural Life Fitness: Fitness in Motion 8K race will take runners throughout the village of Rosemont Saturday, Nov. 15, in an effort to raise money for the Les Turner ALS Foundation.
Online race registration is available at rosemont8k.org through Tuesday, Nov. 11. Race day registration begins at MB Financial Park at 6:30 a.m., and the race kicks off at 8 a.m.
Registration for the race is $50 and includes a long sleeve race shirt, discounts and merchandise from the Fashion Outlets of Chicago and MB Financial Park and a free ticket voucher to an upcoming Chicago Wolves game. A post-race party is scheduled at Hofbrauhaus Chicago for $12.50 per person.
