Schaumburg Park District Theater to stage Disney's 'Peter Pan, Jr.'

Take the second star to the right straight to the Schaumburg Park District's latest musical theater production.

"Peter Pan, Jr." will be performed at 7 p.m., Nov. 21 and 22; and 2 p.m., Nov. 23 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night, and with a sprinkle of pixie dust begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will forget.

"This is going to be a really enjoyable performance," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "Adults will be taken back to their childhood and kids will wish they never grow up, just like Peter."

Tickets are $12 for 13 years and older; $7 for youth and free for age 2 and younger (if being held).
