Over 200 turn out for Grace Lutheran's Oktoberfest

More 200 people came out for the annual Oktoberfest at Grace Lutheran Church in Lily Lake Oct. 25.

Sixty hot dogs were donated by Pete's Famous Hot Dogs and Country Restaurant in Lily Lake, as well as 60 brats, homemade by a couple from the church.

90 Miles Cuban Cafe in Chicago donated the 60-pound pig for the pig roast.

It also featured hayrides, tricycle races, cake walks, sumo wrestling, inflatables, children's games, vendors, crafts and a bonfire.

Later in the fall, the church will be hosting its annual autumn rummage sale. The sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 15, at the church, 5N600 Hanson Road, just off routes 64 and 47 in Lily Lake.
