Seats Available for Library Bus Trip to Newsies

Seats are available on the Schaumburg Township District Library's bus trip to see the Tony Award-winning musical, "Newsies," on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago. The 5 p.m. departure and 11:15 p.m. return will take place in the library's parking lot, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. The $105 per person fee includes premium Loge seating and motorcoach transportation. Theater-goers are welcome to bring food on the bus to be consumed en route to the theatre. Registration and pre-payment is required.

Based on true events, Newsies tells the captivating story of a band of underdogs who become unlikely heroes when they stand up to the most powerful men in New York - old man Pulitzer among them. Winner of the 2012 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Choreography, Newsies features music by Alan Menken and a high-energy explosion of song and dance.
