Warren High choir concert:

Warren Township High School choir students will perform in concert Thursday, Oct. 30, in the auditorium at the O'Plaine Campus, 500 N. O'Plaine Road, Gurnee. Nearly 150 students will sing in several groups. Choir groups performing are the Freshman-Sophomore Concert Choir, Junior-Senior Treble Choir, Sophomore Treble Choir, Concert Choir, Blue Tones, and Vocal Velocity. Blue Tones is an extracurricular women's a cappella group and Vocal Velocity is an extracurricular show choir. Students will perform 17 songs, including "There Shall a Star Come Out of Jacob" by Felix Mendelssohn, "Three Little Maids" from Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado," "Sing for Joy" from George F. Handel "Judas Maccabaeus," selections from the musical, "Rent," and concluding with "We are the World" by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.
