Eagle candidate builds new path for St. Joseph's Home

This past spring, Chris Beiersdorf, a senior at Saint Viator High School, completed his Eagle Scout Project for the Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home in Palatine.

Chris, with Troop #166 out of the Saint James Parish and many volunteers and parents, replaced an old asphalt path with a new asphalt walk. The new path will allow residents of Saint Joseph's Home to safely access the pond front on a regular basis.

Chris is now completing his book and will submit for final approval. He hopes to be another proud Eagle Scout from Troop #166.

A note of thanks to the Saint James Women's Club for being Troop #166's sponsor for over 50 years.
