East Dundee celebrates the season with Harvest Fest

Families had a chance to celebrate fall with almost summerlike weather Sunday with at Harvest Fest hosted by the Village of East Dundee Farmers Market.

The event featured a small petting zoo, pony rides, touch-a-truck, a stilt walker, face-painting and more.

"It's been a really wonderful year as a new market," East Dundee Village President Lael Miller said in a news release. "The farmers, the chefs and all the vendors have been so supportive. It's been a great addition to the downtown. We're looking forward to next year."
