Things are worse in Mideast 6 years later

There is a reason President Obama's poll numbers are falling like a rock after being commander in chief for almost six years - and don't forget his party controlled both the White House and the Congress for two full years. American citizens are being beheaded and this inhumane act is glamorized all over the world. President Obama promised to take action in Syria after their proven use of chemical weapons. The president drew a red line and failed to act. Right now over 150,000 Syrians have been slaughtered.

Obama's chief military advisers recommended that he take action, but the president ignored their advice and did nothing. There was bipartisan support to take action against Syria.

President Obama promised Russian President Dmitry Medvedev off camera that once the elections were over things would be different, but things have gotten much worse. The Middle East is in shambles, and now Turkey, which used to be a loyal ally to the United States, just sits and watches without intervening in the Syrian border town of Kobani as innocent women and children are killed.

President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry have little or no influence with our Middle East allies. Just think a few years before President Obama took office - there was hope of an Arab Spring - but in six short years everything has changed.

And here is something to ponder. Forget Syria, Iraq and Ukraine. This is where World War III starts. Where is our commander in chief when we need him? But don't worry, President Obama really loves golf and is sharpening up his game.
