Justinian Society appoints Elmhurst resident to 2nd vice president

The Justinian Society, one of the largest Italian-based ethnic bar associations in the United States, recently appointed Frank A. Sommario, partner at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, to second vice president on its 2014-2015 board of officers.

His latest appointment follows his tenure as a Justinian Society board officer for various roles he has held since 2011.

"I'm honored to continue my service as an officer of the Justinian Society in the upcoming year," Sommario said. "In the five years I've been part of the executive committee and also a board member, it's been rewarding to work alongside colleagues who not only love what they do at their day jobs, but share the same love for fellow Justinians who genuinely help and support each other."

Sommario served as counsel to Romanucci & Blandin in workers' compensation matters before joining the firm full time in 2007. As a petitioner's workers' compensation lawyer, he vigorously fights for the rights of his clients, and has obtained numerous sizable settlements and favorable trial awards for those he has represented. He was named an Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the years from 2010-14, named one of 40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch by Law Bulletin Publishing Company 2012 as well as received an AVVO Top Rating 10/10.
