Lombard mom, children missing since Sunday

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Lombard-area mother and two children who have been missing since Sunday.

Lanette Anderson, 43, left the area of 22nd Street and Glen Avenue near Lombard about noon on Sunday to attend a Halloween party, according to a news release from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

She was accompanied by her two sons, 6-year-old Daniel, who was last seen wearing a black jogging suit with green and yellow piping, and 2-year-old Solomon, who was last ween wearing an orange and blue Bears jacket.

Anderson was driving a 2008 gray Hyundai Accent with the license plate R81584. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue jean jacket.

Police believe Anderson may be in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs. Anyone with information is asked to call the DuPage County Sheriff's Office at (630) 407-2400.
