Dold has shown concern for Mundelein

As the race between Republican Bob Dold and Democrat Brad Schneider for Illinois' 10th Congressional District nears Election Day, one thing is abundantly clear to the trustees of Mundelein; only one candidate has made an effort to connect with our vibrant community.

Since the 2014 campaign cycle started, Bob Dold has worked hard to develop personal relationships with the people of Mundelein. Since February alone, Dold has participated in our Pet Parade, Mundelein Community Days Parade, a GLMV Chamber Legislative breakfast, and the Ribbon Cutting of our new town hall.

Additionally, he has supported multiple community organizations, such as the Mundelein Business Alliance and the Police Statue Committee.

The incumbent, Brad Schneider, has been noticeably absent from our village.

Putting aside party politics, it is clear that Bob Dold is the right choice to represent Mundelein in Washington. He knows our community and is in tune with what is important to its people.

In a time with so much political polarization, we need a representative who puts people before politics and progress before partisanship, and we believe that person is Bob Dold.
