Celebrate International Games Day, November 15 at Palatine Library

The Palatine Library will celebrate International Games Day on Saturday, November 15, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. Bring the whole family to enjoy games for all ages and a chance to win prizes. Gaming stations will be set up with favorites like Minecraft, Supersmash, and Texas Hold'em. Enjoy Bingo, trivia, classic board games, and more!

"Games connect people with one another. This event is not only fun and educational, but offers everyone the chance to participate in celebrations taking place in libraries throughout the world at the same time," says Megan Buttera, Teen Librarian. Playing games at the Library encourages critical thinking, helps develop problem-solving, improves social skills, and creates opportunities for community fun. The Palatine Public Library District (www.palatinelibrary.org) is your destination for knowledge, entertainment, and community. The District serves approximately 90,000 residents predominantly within the communities of Palatine and Hoffman Estates.
