Learn unique ways to repurpose pumpkins at the Schaumburg Park District
Pumpkins are good for more than just Halloween decorations.
Reuse and recycle jack-o-lanterns at Pumpkins Post October 31, 11 a.m. to noon, Nov. 2 at Spring Valley, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road.
"Pumpkins are a staple of fall. You can do so much more than simply make jack-o-lanterns for Halloween," said Mary Rice, Spring Valley education coordinator. "We will show participants some very unique and unusual ideas on how to use pumpkins after Halloween."
Participants will receive a booklet filled with unique pumpkin recipes and crafts.
This class is for ages 18 and older. Cost is $6 for residents and $9 for non-residents.
