Lake County Lightning Gold 10U wins national tournament

Although it may be fall, the 10U Lake County Lightning Gold team had a summer to remember.
They traveled to Elizabethtown, Kentucky, for their first major tournament in the Youth Baseball Nationals. After a rocky start during their first two games, they regrouped and came back to win it all.
The boys enjoyed a victory under the lights, edging out the Detroit Bees 6-5 in the final game.
During the week there, players and families were also able to take a trip to the Louisville Slugger Factory and Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park.
