Rauner can't run state like a business

Governor candidate Bruce Rauner wants to run our state like a business unfortunately; government is a service not a business. Mr. Rauner can't fire the other elected officials. He can't outsource the prisons or the roads and public transportation and schools like he did by sending American jobs to low wage countries to increase his profits.

Actually, his way of managing has hurt working people and their families and will hurt the people of Illinois if he became governor. Unfortunately, Mr. Rauner will go out of his way to do whatever it takes to facilitate the interests of big business even when it hurts the rest of us.

I have known Pat Quinn a long time as a populist and as someone who did stand up for the average person in Illinois in the face of the powers that be. I worked alongside him while working with other reformers political campaigns.

He has always stood up for us. He always will. He has been a reformer and sided with other reformers. That is part of the reason that he has so much trouble from some powerful people even in his own party. I know he is on our side but am pretty sure that Rauner isn't.
