Spring Hill Mall to host Fall Family Festival, visit by Staley Da Bear

In celebration of the fall season, Spring Hill Mall will host its fifth annual Fall Family Festival featuring family-friendly activities from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the mall's Sears Court, off Route 72 and 31 in West Dundee.

Parents are invited to bring their children, age 2 to 12, to the mall for an afternoon of fun that includes hayrides, pumpkin decorating, make-and-take crafts, face painting, prizes and more.

Kids are welcome and encouraged to wear their costume. The mall will also host a children's costume contest and trick-or-treating throughout the center.

The event will kick off with an appearance by Staley Da Bear at 1 p.m. and presentation about "Fighting Bullying" by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dundee, in recognition of Anti-Bullying Month.

All activities are while supplies last. Spring Hill Mall will also invite children to enjoy trick-or-treating in the mall.

Registration for the costume contest begins at 2 p.m. and the contest begins at 4 p.m. It is limited to 150 participants.

The Fall Family Festival offers a location for children and their parents to participate in a seasonal celebration within a safe and fun environment.
