Enjoy "Food for the Spirit(s)," a wine-tasting benefit for Fox Valley Festival Chorus

The Fox Valley Festival Chorus is hosting a wine-tasting fundraiser, "Food for the Spirit(s)" from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Fox Valley Winery, 5600 Route 34, Oswego.

Solos, small ensembles and large group numbers will be performed by members of the Fox Valley Festival Chorus all evening long. Guests will be invited to sip on a little wine and enjoy light appetizers while humming along.

The Fox Valley Festival Chorus is under the direction of Mary Beth McCarthy. Bonnie Werthmann is the accompanist.

The 50-plus voice Community Chorus will be celebrating its 65th anniversary next year. The chorus, which performed at Carnegie Hall in 2013, will be performing at Lincoln Center in New York City in 2015.

Tickets are $25 per person. Ticket price includes five tastings, light appetizers, winery tour and beautiful music.
