Oil painter featured at Des Plaines Art Guild meeting

Oil painter Ann Feldman will be the featured demo artist at the November meeting of the Des Plaines Art Guild 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker St. in Des Plaines.

Feldman left the corporate world to embark on an artistic journey and now creates oil portraits and daily paintings. She also teaches classes and workshops at Mainstreet Art Centre in Lake Zurich and conducts demonstrations for art groups interested in impressionist techniques.

Feldman's artwork can be found at dailypaintworks.com; the Button Petter Gallery in Saugatuck, Michigan; and the East End Gallery in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The public is welcome to attend. There is no fee, but donations are appreciated.
