Trick-or-treat events Saturday in Palatine
Costumed children and their parents will be able to get a jump on trick or treating at two events in Palatine this weekend.
The Palatine Farmers Market, located outside the Palatine Metra station, and Wolff's Flea Market, at 1775 N. Rand Road, are inviting candy-seeking children to trick-or-treat events on Saturday.
According to the village vendors will be passing out candy at the Palatine farmers market. There also will be games for kids to play during the event.
Wolff's will feature a costume parade around the market in the afternoon as well as a mini-haunted house. Also, Steve Dahlke of Steve's Pumpkin Art will carve giant pumpkins.
