Munger has integrity, experience for 59th

I am so happy the Daily Herald endorsed newcomer Leslie Munger for Illinois state representative.

They were correct saying "she has the ideas and the character to make an effective legislator."

I have known Leslie Munger for many years. She is an extremely hard worker who gets big things done; just what Illinois desperately needs right now.

She is respected by all who know and have worked with her whether it is in business, our schools, or Riverside Foundation. She has been president of almost every organization locally and has led with the utmost integrity and the unique ability to bring many diverse people together to achieve common goals.

Leslie Munger has the experience and skills needed to solve the huge fiscal problem facing Illinois. I am confident she will be a strong, independent voice who will work tirelessly for the taxpayers.

I am happy to finally see a candidate who will truly serve the public by refusing a state-paid pension and health care benefits and most importantly, stand up to Madigan.

I urge the voters of the 59th District, to follow the Daily Herald's endorsement and hold the incumbent, Sente, accountable for her partisan votes with Speaker Madigan. Like the Daily Herald, I will be supporting Leslie Munger on Nov. 4th.
