Mundelein celebrates diversity
The Mundelein human relations commission is seeking nominees for the fifth annual Diversity Award. The prize recognizes and celebrates efforts that promote and advocate for cultural awareness and diversity. Nominees should have created or been part of a program that recognizes diversity, demonstrates peaceful problem solving, promotes social or cultural understanding, or builds cross-cultural relations. Nomination forms are available at mundelein-il.org/government/hrc, or by contact Colleen Malec at (847) 949-3289 or cmalec@mundelein.org. Nominations are due by Dec. 5.
