Girls golf: St. Edward's Scully has Top Ten in site

St. Edward senior Ryann Scully has an opportunity to finish in the Top Ten at the Class A state girls golf tournament at Red Tail Run in Decatur.

Scully rebounded from a 46 on her first nine to finish in 39 Friday. Her 84 is tied for 23rd place going into Saturday's final round, but it's only 3 shots away from 10th place.

Sophomore Lauren Chappell of Charleston is the individual leader with a 75.

Class AA: Burlington Central junior Josie Kurosky shot an 84 at Hickory Point in Decatur Friday and is in a tie for 46th place. Neuqua Valley junior Jessica Yuen and Lincoln-Way West senior Alexis Bredrzycki are tied for the individual lead with 73s.
