Free trick-or-treating at the Schaumburg Park District

Happy Hauntings are coming to Volkening Heritage Farm.

Halloween tricks and tasty treats will be served 3-7 p.m., Oct. 31 at Volkening Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road.

"Everyone deserves a fun and safe place to trick-or-treat and they can do that at Heritage Farm. Trick-or-treaters will go from building to building knocking on doors and collecting sweets," said Patty Kennedy, District farm program coordinator.

Visitors are encouraged to get in the Halloween spirit and wear their costumes.

Parking is available at the Plum Grove parking lot, 201 S. Plum Grove Road. Additional parking is available at St. Matthew Catholic Church's far back lot, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road.
