Kids are rocking and rolling at the Schaumburg Park District

It's always a musical day at Kid Rock!

New sessions of Kid Rock I and Kid Rock II start Oct. 28 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

This multi-faceted music and movement program focuses on song and dance, rhythm and rhyme, imaginative play, fine and gross motor skills and following directions.

"Children tend to learn faster with music and movements," said Teresa Varco, early childhood supervisor. "The children get really involved in this class and love playing with the instruments."

Upcoming classes include:

• Ages: 20-36 months* | 10-10:40 a.m. | Tuesdays, Oct. 28-Dec. 9 | Community Recreation Center

• Ages: 3-4 years | 10:45-11:25 a.m. | Tuesdays, Oct. 28-Dec. 9 | Community Recreation Center

*Parents participate with children.

Cost is $60 for residents and $80 for non-residents. There is no class on Nov. 25.
