Plans, players taking shape for SoxFest 2015

The Chicago White Sox have announced an initial list of current players scheduled to take part in SoxFest 2015 next January.

SoxFest 2015 offers fans the opportunity to meet their favorite current White Sox players and members of the 2005 World Series championship team. Current White Sox players scheduled to appear include Jose Abreu, Adam Eaton, Tyler Flowers, Avisail Garcia, Conor Gillaspie, Jake Petricka, Jose Quintana and Alexei Ramirez as well as pitching coach Don Cooper, hitting coach Todd Steverson and manager Robin Ventura. Additional current and former White Sox players who also will attend the event (Jan. 23-25) at the Hilton Chicago will be announced at a later date.

Fans can attend autograph, photo and question-and-answer sessions, as well as the SoxFest Garage Sale. The weekend also will include interactive activities for White Sox fans of all ages.
