In celebration of its first anniversary at Gurnee Mills, the Lego Store will host a “Creation Nation” Lego Master Build event. Visitors are invited to help create landscape and city scenes from Lego bricks. The Legos will be used to fill a 25-by-25-foot map of the United States in the mall's Dining Pavilion. See more than 3,000 pumpkins made of blown glass at the Morton Arboretum's fourth annual Glass Pumpkin Patch. Majeski Met debut

Soprano and Waukegan native Amanda Majeski performs for a worldwide audience in the Metropolitan Opera's new production of Mozart's “The Marriage of Figaro” directed and reset to the early 1930s by Sir Richard Eyre. The comic opera is simulcast on Saturday as part of the Live In HD series.
