If you don't vote, do not complain
It is now election time in Illinois. Early voting runs Oct. 20 to Nov. 2. Applications for absentee voting have been accepted for some time. Questions? Contact the Lake County Clerk's Office elections department.
No matter what your personal choice is, or your stand on a referendum you may have in your community, this is your opportunity to use your voice in this great land of ours, the United States of America. It is a privilege to be able to vote. Make your voice heard.
If you choose not to, then please do not complain about those who have been elected or the referendum which may or may not have passed. God bless America and our leaders.
