Mom accused of trying to poison daughters

A Montgomery woman accused of trying to poison her three daughters and stabbing two of them has been charged with attempted murder.

A police statement says Pamela J. Christensen, 47, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery and aggravated unlawful restraint.

Police say officers responded to a home on Sept. 25 after two 911 hang-up calls. The three girls were hospitalized and later released.

Christensen was ordered held on $1 million bail Thursday. It was not immediately clear if she already had an attorney.

Her next court appearance is Oct. 16.
