Celebrate Halloween with the Schaumburg Park District

The Community Recreation Center and Safety Park are transforming into a Halloween carnival!

The District will host the annual Halloween Boonanza from 6 to 9 p.m., Oct. 31 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Children ages 1 to 14 will enjoy hay rides, crafts, carnival games, a moonwalk, entertainment, prizes, a haunted house and trick-or-treating.

"Boonanza will be the ultimate spooky party to close out the Halloween festivities for this year," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor. "The level of entertainment makes this a Halloween event you won't want to miss."

Pre-registration fee is $10 per child and includes all activities except concessions. Deadline for pre-registration is 9 p.m., Oct. 30. Day-of registration fee is $12 per child. Parents and children ages 1 and younger are free.
