Sing up a storm and satisfy your sweet tooth with the Schaumburg Park District

Sweet melodies and sweet treats await around the campfire.

Bring the family for a free campfire complete with songs, stories, snacks and more at Jammin' Round the Campfire, 6 to 8 p.m., Oct. 18 at Spring Valley, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road.

Grab your favorite instrument, even if it's your voice and hands, and circle around the campfire. Sing a few classic songs and learn some news ones. After singing up a storm, have fun roasting marshmallows.

"This is sure to be a fun night filled with stories and songs around a toasty campfire. We invite everyone to bring their own instrument, whether it is your voice, a guitar or a pot, so you can sing and play along with us," said Mary Rice, Schaumburg Park District education coordinator.
