St. Theresa School in Palatine Announces New Affiliation with Mobile Therapy Centers of America, LLC
PALATINE, IL - October 3, 2014 - St. Theresa School (STS) announced today their new affiliation with Mobile Therapy Centers of America (MTC). MTC is a private therapy service provider which conveniently brings onsite speech/language and child and family services directly to private schools and childcare centers, throughout the state of Illinois. As part of this relationship, MTC is offering free developmental screenings by licensed and credentialed therapists to children at St. Theresa School. The screenings will begin the week of October 13, 2014.
There are many benefits to this new affiliation. For the families whose children qualify for services, scheduling therapy appointments will be easy and convenient as therapy can be provided by MTC during a child's day at St. Theresa School. Therapy will be in a familiar environment and at a time that will best meet childrens'needs. Collaboration with teachers and staff will allow for carryover of targeted skills along with generalization of these skills into a more natural setting.
In addition, MTC's child and family services program offers both individual and family counseling sessions for family members of all ages. Sessions may take place at St. Theresa School, in home, at the client's workplace, MTC's office or at a community setting of the family's choice.
