Peoria Central Invite

Hoffman Estates placed seven girls in the top 27, helping the Hawks secure first place with 77 points at the Peoria Central Invite on the Detweiller Park course.

Junior Meagan Biddle paced the Hawks by taking fifth place in 17:55.

Misbah Baig (18:12) and Yazmin Nunez (18:12) added 11th- and 12th-place finishes for the Hawks, followed by Alondra Aguirre (18:20, 20th) and Reena Prahbu (18:30, 27th).

Prospect sophomore Brooke Wilson (17:46) continued to impress by taking third place and leading the Knights to fifth place with 216 points. Senior Hannah Getschman (17:59) contributed with a seventh-place finish, with sophomore Aileen White (18:16) adding a 17th-place finish.

Gabby Sanchez (18:07) finished 11th for Rolling Meadows.

Peoria Notre Dame's Maryjeanne Gilbert cruised to the individual title in 16:43, she finished 24 second in front of Fenwick's Olivia Ryan (17:07).

Fenwick (163 points) took second, followed by Downers Grove South (179 points) and Oswego (216 points).
