Interested in Public Service? Gain Insight at Library Program

Anyone interested in serving on a public board or committee is invited to attend "So You're Interested in Public Service?" from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7 in the Rasmussen South Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Hosted by former library board president Bob Lyons, this free, informative session will include Hoffman Estates Mayor Bill McLeod and Hanover Park Mayor Rod Craig.

Attendees will gain insight from the experience of these three longtime veterans of the public service arena. Printed materials will be handed out and refreshments will be served. McLeod, Craig and Lyons will all be available to answer questions during and after the program.
